Past editions included maple taffy on snow, wagon rides, folk music and dance performances, a sugar market, workshops, and a traditional maple shack meal. It was a celebration of francophone culture in Western Canada, built around the spring maple season.
The festival ran for years at Heritage Park as an early-March tradition. We could not find a record of when the first one was held. The festival’s old website is dead and Heritage Park lists no recent edition, so we can’t confirm it’s still running.
