Welcome to CMCalgary.ca

CMCalgary is a Calgary based blogger/social media type account. We share local information via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Threads, Bluesky, Discord, reddit, e-mail, YouTube and anywhere else new and fun. We aim to primarily share Calgary focused content but we also share things relevant to Banff, Jasper, Edmonton, elsewhere in Alberta, and occasionally throughout Canada. Oh and sometimes memes, jokes, contests, nonsense, photos and videos.

This website is still under construction. It’ll way better soon!

Calgary Facebook Groups

If you’re looking to connect with other Calgarians, Facebook groups are a great way to do it. They’re essentially modern day online forums. Below are some of the Facebook groups we’re a part of. We run a number of Facebook groups but here are a few of the bigger communities:

Calgary Gardening - A Facebook group for Calgarians to discuss gardening, all year long.

A group for Calgary green thumbs to share gardening information as it relates to zone 4a.

Calgary Roast & Toast - a Calgary focused Facebook group where people can share posts toasting someone for something, or roasting them - but in a lighthearted way. Sometimes it can get heated!

Toast to the good & roast to the bad, have fun but keep it respectable.

FoodYYC - A Facebook group for Calgary foodies! A space for Calgarians to share experiences they've had at restaurants, at foodie events or other dining experiences.
Posts about new restaurants opening up, or closing, are also encouraged. For questions, please include as much information as possible. The more information, the easier it'll be for people to help.

Calgarians asking questions or sharing information about the local food scene.

Ask Calgary - Do you have a question for Calgarians? Ask it here in this Facebook group.

This is the largest Calgary Facebook group.
