Salsa by the River is a free outdoor salsa and bachata social held every Wednesday evening through the summer on the wooden platform beside the Jaipur Bridge in Prince’s Island Park. No partner or experience needed, just show up and dance.

Dancers of all levels fill the platform by the river as the evening goes on, with salsa and bachata played from a portable setup. Evenings regularly draw hundreds of dancers plus onlookers who come to watch from the bridge and the pathway.
Street parking nearby is free after 6 PM, and public washrooms are available in the park. Check the organizers’ Instagram for weather calls and season dates.
