Calgary Tattoo & Arts Festival

The Calgary Tattoo & Arts Festival is a three-day October tattoo convention at the BMO Centre, billed as the largest of its kind in Canada.

More than 700 local and international tattoo artists work on the floor over the weekend. The event also includes tattoo contests, retail exhibitors, live entertainment, artist seminars and a stage show, with Friday traditionally an adults-only night. A smaller Winter Edition also runs each February at the Big Four Roadhouse.

The festival grew out of the Alberta Bound Tattoo & Arts Festival of the late 2000s and early 2010s. It is now run as part of the Canada Tattoo Shows circuit by organizer Steve Peace, and the 2026 edition moved into the BMO Centre’s new halls D, E and F.
