The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo is a four-day pop culture convention covering comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, gaming and cosplay, held in late April each year.
About
Also known simply as CALGARY EXPO, it is Western Canada’s largest pop culture convention and the second largest of its kind in Canada, now organized by FAN EXPO HQ. The weekend features celebrity guest panels, autograph sessions and photo ops, an artists alley, hundreds of vendors, workshops and cosplay. The free POW! Parade of Wonders cosplay parade kicks off the show downtown.
It has run since 2006 and grown to draw around 100,000 fans across four days. Show hours for 2026 were Thursday 4 PM to 9 PM, Friday 12 PM to 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM, with Thursday opening at 2 PM for VIP, Ultimate and 4-day pass holders.
