Calgary Beerfest is a beer tasting festival with hundreds of beers, spirits, ciders and meads from more than 200 breweries and exhibitors, held the first weekend of May each year.
About
The festival is billed as one of Canada’s largest beer festivals. Alongside the hundreds of beers from more than 200 breweries and exhibitors, there is food from dozens of Calgary pubs and restaurants, cooking-with-beer and brewmaster seminars, DJs and live entertainment, and afterparties. It is an 18+ event, so bring ID.
It is run by Alberta Beer Festivals, which describes itself as brewing beer culture in Alberta since 2004. The Calgary edition grew alongside the province’s craft beer boom and now fills halls D, E and F of the BMO Centre at Stampede Park.
