West Springs is a residential neighbourhood in west Calgary, established in 2001. The area was annexed from Rocky View County in 1995, and Wentworth forms the western extension of the community.

History Of West Springs
The West Springs area was annexed by the City of Calgary from Rocky View County (then the Municipal District of Rocky View) in 1995. West Springs was established as a residential neighbourhood in 2001.
Wentworth is the western extension of the West Springs area. The West Springs/Cougar Ridge Community Association (WSCRCA), registered in 2002, serves West Springs and Cougar Ridge.
