As a new community, Savanna’s parks and pathways are being built alongside its homes. Nearby Saddle Ridge offers established green spaces while Savanna’s own amenities take shape.
Main Street
Savanna is residential and under construction. Shops and services are available in established Saddle Ridge and at nearby retail along 52 Street NE and Metis Trail.
Community Resources
The Saddle Ridge Community Association (mysrca.ca) serves Savanna residents with programs and events while the community builds out. New schools are planned as the population grows.

History Of Savanna
Savanna is the newest community in this batch, still being built as the final expansion of Saddle Ridge in northeast Calgary. The annexation year of 1989 is estimated via Saddle Ridge.
As development continues, new homes, parks and pathways are opening in phases. The Saddle Ridge Community Association serves Savanna residents during the build-out, and no 2021 census profile is published for the community yet.
