History Of Huntington Hills
The land was annexed in 1961 and Huntington Hills was established in 1967, developing through the late 1960s and 1970s as north Calgary expanded. Its position on the slopes of Nose Hill gave the new suburb long views and quick access to the park.
Today it is among the largest communities in the city, with a full range of housing, schools and recreation centred on the community association's facilities.
