About Sheepdog Brewing
Sheepdog Brewing is a small-batch craft brewery in Canmore that opened in June 2019. It was founded by first responders from firefighting, law enforcement and the military, and the sheepdog name nods to those who stand guard.
The original Canmore taproom and headquarters sits at the end of Leben’s Run, built for post-adventure hangs with mountain views and a two-floor dog-friendly taproom pouring rotating small-batch brews like the Miscoozi Italian Pilsner and Dogfather IPA.
Sheepdog has since expanded with taprooms in Banff and Cochrane, and hosts community events like bingo nights and live music.
